Internet Explorer makes things difficult

I have developed a page in phpwcms, but there seems to be a problem with IE.

I want the content to the left align to the top (as it does in Mozilla) - what do I do wrong? I have set the div to the right to float:right and clear:none, but IE ignores that. What to do?

check the width of the Image - cause IE calculates the widrh of a cell wrong

How? Are you saying that the image is too wide? It should fit nicely, as it does in Firefox. I seem to be unable to solve this on my own.
