Advice on using phpWCMS for a baseball club site

Post by overhaul »

Hi,

This CMS looks great, I'm new to CMS applications. I've designed a site that needs to convert over to a CMS based site. I looked at Mambo, phpwebsite and now phpWCMS. My needs are listed below:

'Baseball club/league management' system with these features:

-event (game) attendance showing who is commited to playing and keeps a record of who showed up
-Uniforms/Equipment (block)
--paypal forms for ordering equipment/ paying game fees
-calendar for events (group permissions for entry)
-- RSS of Pro Home games for angels
-Major Leage Baseball news (RSS feeds)
-stats for team standings and individual players with entry
-news/announcements (post game right up) with photo upload
--newsletter subscription
--chaplains corner (news)
-member (player/roster) registration by administrator
-email group notification for team manager users
-photo album (quicktime playing)
--promotional page to recruit membership, with video
-contact forms posted to various users (i.e. suggestions for board members & sign-up requests for managers)
-CMS with portal style layout
--custom template, CSS (my own design)
--webmaster & admin access to the CMS
--integration or bridge to phpBB (existing site, with about 50 members/users)

Do you think phpWCMS would handle this? I use powweb.com for hosting.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
