Changes don't take effect - cache problem?

I made a fresh install of phpwcms, set chmods and
after a while of creating a new template: No changes took effect.

I set cache on and off for some pages. Sometimes changes took effect, but not everytime and when, I had to switch cache "on,save,off,save" for one time.

At least I deleted every layout and every template, but when
I created an article and added content it was shown as "well" as before (but without css-formatting) !!

Could this be a cache problem?

yes this could be disable the chachefunktion in the conf.inc.php and test it again please!

OG metioned that the cache function shouldn't be used until the next release because there are still too many bugs.

Switched chache to 0. So my problem is solved for now

Hello I just upgraded to 1.1.9-DEV and am having the same problem.

However I looked in my conf.inc.php and couldn't find the area to set "0" for the cache to fix it. Am I missing something?

download 1.2.1-DEV - there cache problems are solved (I think)
