Post by fivepoints »

hallo
I made a search for the forum support in phpwcms rc v1.1
I realize that there's not an integrated forum and chat. Can you tell me if exist some external function to integrate a forum and a chat in phpwcms rc1.1?

hallo,

I'ma a new user of phpwcms, what do you mean with iframes? Do you mean that I have to setup a phorum and a chat into an iframe on the frontend site :?

There aren't any functions to integrate in phpwcms rc1.1?

Thanks

hallo,

I just wanted to know if exist some php code to setup an integrated forum and chat on sites made with phpwcms v1.1.
Yes, I can use a third part forum like Ultimate PHP Board and put it into an iframe, but the graphic and user interface of the phorum will not meet the site criteria.
I didnt saw any management of forum or chat in phpwcms backend (there is a chat, but for site administrators and editors).

I aplogise for my english..

Maybe I didn't understand excactly what do you mean?

I guess it wouldn't be a problem to simply include a login-box for your chat via the {PHP:} tag and then use the chat inside an popup. (I would prefer that rather than chatting inside some site-layout)

And as pappnase said, a forum is being finished at the moment.
