Disappointed...

Post by Gnolen »

I know that I will get jumped on now but I just wanted to say that I am disappointed on the so called 'development release'. There is not really a 'big bang' at all and to call it a development version for 2.0 then some more had to be done. Just really feels like it has been released to make the deadline and that is not really the way to go I think.

Maybe it was just me but I expected something more - especially the 'content anywhere' function which I think is REALLY strange why it's not there yet...

But all creds to O. anyway ofcourse!!! Just have to lower my expectations I assume...

So, go ahead guys and girls - jump...

i guess instead of disappointed we should be grateful to Oliver for the time he spends improving phpwcms. Dev version has major *coding* changes to make life even easier to future, external developers, and i'm pretty sure new features will emerge soon by everybody's effort.

content anywhere is coming on weekend - it's working. And as Fulvio said: more internal changes than visible.

Hey Oliver,

Sorry. One more question. Will this feature be released in the final 2.0 version? Or will you put it online before that ? Maybe in the dev version ?
At least for me it's pretty important ;)

Thanks alot.

coming today in a dev release. the dev release is stable enough to be used in production. But be aware when upgrading older installs. Bid and reference not finally supported at the moment. I hope to fix that today for reference.
