I have the same problem. Copy and paste doesn't work in Firefox. But I think it's a configuration issue of Firefox. I don't want to install another editor.

How can the protection be turned off? The method with the user.js file doesn't work. Any suggestions?

If you are using Firefox and you need a workaround, just switch to the HTML view and try to paste something again 8)

Yes, I think that's the best slution. Making a fancy looking table with one of these editors really sucks.

P.S. We all talk about webstandards etcetera; isn't it strange there are so many problems running a simple editor script in different browsers?

yes indeed it is... but I think it depends on which version of the editor you are using! If it's not the recent one then you musn't complain at all cuz it's not the developers fault and as I read with the recent release of FCK there are no more compatibility problems...

Don't know. The one which is included in the most recent version of phpwcms. All three editors don't work.
