phphwcms tutorial site? (by user contribution)
phphwcms tutorial site? (by user contribution)
While trying to teach myself how to use phpwcms I was thinking..
I wish there was a site where users could create thier own tutorials demonstrating all aspects of phpwcms ans it's uses.
my initial idea (feedback requested) is to have a list of all the individual areas of phpwcms with articles on how to use them and a few demontration articles that show uses for that area.
the reason for this? so that we all may include a section in our sites that teach the contributers to our personal sites the 'how to' and 'why to'.
this way we all get to learn the best approaches to creating a phpwcms powered site as well as an understand of the tools at our disposal.
I realise Oliver as with us all are far too busy to create a comprehensive tutorial any time soon but with an army of guys all working on individual sections we should able to come up with some thing good.
any one interested in working on this please post here and we shall work our a gameplan.

if any tutorials are in poor english, unclear in it's meaning or incorrect then this would be corrected by another user hopefully..
I would also hope that any tutorial in any laguage would be most welcome as I would hope the tutorial site would be replicated/translated in to most major languages by us users
I think a new feature would be needed that sits along side 'private' & 'public' should be 'open' that would allow loged in person alter, amend and change a file/article ect.
