Can't run /setup/index.php to Install

Hi all,

I have no idea what's going on.

I cant open and run /setup/index.php to run the installer. Ive followed the instructions; I'm using php 5.02; Ive removed all the write-only permissions from the folders/files. When I try to open it my browser says that the file cant be located.

The index.php file is located in this path:

C:\xampp\htdocs\phpwcms\setup\index.php

I use this URL to try to open the file:

http://localhost/xampp/htdocs/phpwcms/setup/index.php

The document root is:

C:\xampp\htdocs

I have other php programs running without any problems.

u know that the installer ist called setup/setup.php and not setup/index.php?!!

edit: ops sry... with index.php it works also. i skip the first page with setup.php

Hi paulhoy,

try the following:

http://localhost/phpwcms/setup/index.php

That works for me
