{NEW} - Needs to isolate only one branch of a site

Sounds to me that something would greatly benefit, to be able to isolate the NEW articles' showing when you use this replacement tag on a site where you have, let's say, an English/French and Deutch etc., structure.

For example, on my site (French/English), if I use this replacement tag {NEW:10}, all the latest articles from both English and French will show, alltogether. So... would be nice to isolate these, on a per structure basis.
