templates and popup windows

Hi All,

as I further move along on the http://ubugallery.com/ubu_frameset.htm site I have encountered a new problem. I noticed that when I link to a new article in a blank window with the [EXT] tag the template automatically is set to index (my default). Even when I change the template settings in the site structure. Has anyone had this problem? If so, was a solution found?

any help is greatly appritiated.

ps. I have added a little tag at the top left corner which shows which template is being used. The best place to see the effect I am talking about is in the artists section. The entire list is made using the [EXT] link tags.
