Guestbook

Post by jeroen »

Hello again, I made a completely new setup with all the updates needed. Now, if I make a guestbook and leave the ID blank I do get a guestbook on front-end. (so far o.k.) After filling in and submitting it, it states only the content I entered and NOT the guestbook. What am I doing wrong?? I should be so simple.

Regards, Jeroen

Guestbook new version doesn't work

Post by argos »

There must be something wrong with the new version of the guestbook. For a new site I make for a client I installed the lastest core-package and then all patches, so that cannot be be the cause.

When I create a guestbook in the admin section, nothing is visible on the front end. And yes, I did check the "visible" box :-)

Anyone has a clue?

Hi Oliver,

thanks! Yes I see your entry, both in the admin and the front end, but I don't see a link to click to sign the guestbook. How did you sign it???

Hey! That's weird.... I normally use IE, and that doesn't show the form, but only the results. That's why I reported the problem. Now I tried some other browsers (netscape, firefox) and they DO show the form! What browser do you use?
