Hi,
I am having this problem in creating the article. when i make a new one and fill normal details and click on the create new article button I get a blank page without the WYSIWYG window. the page only has the left and top and buttom menu as usual but nothing more than that.
I am new to PHPWCMS.
Please help,

Hi,

I have the same oddity. Using either Firefox 0.9.3 or IE 6.
Either Winxp sp2 or sp1.
Turning an installed sw-firewall off had no effect on this strange behaviour.

Any proposals? Without being able to create/edit articles a CMS is very useless.

Since few are "clamoring"... it must be on your end. Maybe javascript permissions??? The editors do use .js

so, well, js is allowed.
and js works, coz tripod/lycos uses it, too, to add their adds... i wonder whether they remove other js while passing the my original page in their frame based page...

or could the max_execution_time of 10 be too small?

It ~seems~ they wouldn't be the only thing affected if script execution time was an issue. Dunno without being able to see the symptom in action.

I am also new to this aparantly wonderful cms but when I am trying to create an article I get

Code: Select all

Warning: main(/cms/include/inc_tmpl/article.editsummary.tmpl.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in d:\inetpub\cms\include\inc_lib\article.editcontent.inc.php on line 226

Warning: main(): Failed opening '/cms/include/inc_tmpl/article.editsummary.tmpl.php' for inclusion (include_path='.;c:\php4\pear') in d:\inetpub\cms\include\inc_lib\article.editcontent.inc.php on line 226
It is rather annoying to not being able to post an article
