templates and layouts delete stright away - please change!

Post by spirelli »

please add a warning that appears when pressing the delete button for layouts or templates. It's just too easy to lose a lot of work.

hello

nothing will be deleted
if an template is deleted then goto the database to the table

phpwcms_template

there you will find

template_trash

to recover the deleted template change the value from your template from 9 to 0 and voila it's back again!

"goto the database to the table"
How do I do this?

I think a warning like all other deletions would still be good!

You see, what a hassle
and why normal user couldn't come to the admin area where the template are.
Yeah, that's good. But nobody is perfect, not even admins. These small buttons are hit quickly. So to save them having to go to phpmyadmin there should be a warning that asks for confimation as anyone would expect. :D

Exactly right. But even better would be if a mistake would be prevented by having to confirm this delete. Don't you agree?!

[It would take me a couple of minutes rather than a few seconds. ]
