Expand {NAV_TABLE_COLUMN} ?

Is it possible to expand the {NAV_TABLE_COLUMN}?
So I don't need to click a category to ses the categories inside.

only you choose the {NAV_TABLE_COLUMN:xx} tag and split up the menue.
