Howto make all backend users share SAME files?

Hi,
Have a site where there are going to be a number of content editors, but it is topmost uncomfortable for them to have various files. I mean they just need to have various user names (so each can 'sign' an article), but all of them absolutely need common access to common file tree.

The default option for each user having unique tree is not desired as it will confuse users and cause problems, as they all need one fully accessible file tree.

Please give us a tip for hardcoding it or work-around. (Pretty please?)
