No Images in RSS feed...

First of all I'd like to say that phpwcms is fantastic and that this is my first post.

The site I am creating is for a design studio I am setting up. You can find it at http://www.wearesmile.com/index.php

Ok, I'm trying to use the /feeds.php as a way to get out work to subscribers and I'll probably use it as some form or rudimentary blog.

Anyway, the feed loads up and shows me all of the article text, but doesn't show the article image, or any images for that matter. Further to that, hyperlinks also do not appear to work in feed readers. Is phpwcms stripping all of the formatting?

My question is: How do I get images to display in the RSS feed?

I've looked in the feeds.ini.php and found the section with things like;
imagesrc = ""

Does this have anything to do with it? I'm no whizz with the php side of things, in fact I'm the sort of person that really needs to be told exactly what to put where.

Any help that you could give would be greatly appreciated.

There is no support at the moment for images in feed items.

imgsrc just means the image for RSS feed "header" information (the general feed image). Put in absolute URI there.

Noooo! When is this feature planned for release?

Is there any other way to post items from other blogging platforms to phpwcms? I'm interested in using tumblr for a group blog, but need all of the links to point back to my phpwcms website. I'm guessing that I would have to edit the rss feed from tumblr (probably using yahoo pipes) to strip all of the links back to tumblr servers.

Essentially I need a blog that looks like it is a core part of the website I am designing.

I'd be really interested to see what others have done to workaround this problem.
