mod_shop where to start implementing IDEAL payment method

Can anybody point me in the direction where to start if i want to add an alternative payment method like IDEAL (dutch) in the shop_module?

It is the include/inc_module/inc_shop – start and check there. It is frontend.render.php and based on how deep you want to integrate some more for changes in module's backend.

Colors and sizes (renamable to whatever)
Wrap as gift, wrap even more, wrap in gold (selectable)
packed in single boxes with fixed shipping costs
and so on... and more...
have been enhancements which are realized already
(but didn't make it into the core)

In a month or so so I can move the sandbox vs live urls into the back end and fix the install and integrate claus's modification. I wish Claus would alter his sig... isn't the offical gurm stable?

Send it in. Make an issue and offer the solution. Show me it is worth to be rolled out to everybody…

Oliver, could it be possible to credit myself for the enhancements... and also credit nameless one and Claus for their contributions? That will go a long way for employment purposes. Also, I would like to change my username here.

development by others are always credited. It would be the question where you expect the credits, extend your solution the way you think it has to be…

I would start here, fork the extended shop module and implement your payment method. Then send pull request when done.
