Provider with PHP >4.2.1 MySQL and other software?

Post by Igor »

Which provider (preferly in the US or the Netherlands) offers PHP >4.2, MySQL, ImageMagick and GhostScript? So I don't have to bother about that? My provider HostSave doesn't offer PHP 4.2.

Thanks + CU + :D ,

  • Full CGI inc: Perl 5, PHP4, Python, C/C++
  • Database support (MySQL)
  • Email Addresses (POP3/IMAP)
  • Webmail, SMTP(upgrade option)

I have found a provider: HostMe.nl. One question left: can I install ImageMagick 5.5.7-10 and GhostScript 7.05 (or higher) in my own directory or is a server-installation required?

Sorry, but this is my first experience with php/Linux. My existing website uses asp.

Thanks a lot and take a look when finished!

CU :wink: ,

It's an ugly site, only portuguese language, but you can test the speed here http://www.e-legis.org

I still don't know about ImageMagic and stuff, but I'm very happy with them till now.
