phpbb banner system used in this forum ?

Hi!

There is a system-script used in this forum, which adds ad-banners randomly between various post.

I am looking for something similar... does anybody (hopefully Oliver) know which scipt (mod, add on, etc) is used? Does anybody have a better suggestion???

thanks in advance!

You should edit:

template\inc_default\article_summary.tmpl

and

template\inc_default\article_summary_list.tmpl

for default article templates.

Oliver, thanks for your reply! Everytime the templates are edited, there are more warnings of the same type added to the template blocks. Instead of using "@htmlentites" it would be easier if there was a way to stop the system doing the above check. Is there any piece of code that could be altered ...

Hi! I tried the solution proposed here on a 1.1 RC4 installation and it partially works. The problem is that all articles show the same date instead of each showing it's own date. I think that the date displayed for all articles is the date that the first article was created when the scipt was ...

RELATED RT modification for 1.1 RC4

Hi! I am using a heavily modified 1.1 RC4 and I am currently not willing to update to a newer version, until v.2 is out (whenever...). I am using the RELATED tag and I would like to modify it in such way, so that it also shows the DATE and TIME an article was created. i.e: Article title blah blah ...

OK fixed it by changing the path at server root.

Thanks anyway, although I disagree with the non - support on earlier versions like RC4, which was widely used by phpwcms community & has a large installations base.
