Thats exactly it. just copy the install folder and edit the config.inc.php to reflect the directory structure and database name for that indivitdual site. eg... wwwroot/site01/index.php etc > database = phpwcmsDataBasesite01 wwwroot/site02/index.php etc > database = phpwcmsDataBasesite02 wwwroot/sit...

that sound just the ticket

but with the open source as a checkbox so that only the creator and the admin can select this option, as with private / public and visible.
this way only some areas of the overall site are 'open' to anyone.

how possible/ likely does this sound?

I can work on the Spanish then Italian, then Punjabi.
but... as I'm English these are all secondary languases so if there are any Spanish, Italian or punjabi's in thae house they are more than welcome to take these on - just post here witch one's.

May I ask if this would benefit many people? in addition the admin (or new SuperAdmin) should be able to have automonous control over the whole aite and its content

there are areas where users can work without the webmaster/admin being able to view or alter the content - not so good i suspect.

but of course would first ask if any one else is working on these?

are you very sure your php is working ?
have you tested it with a phpinfo() ?
are your sessions working correctly?
I can post you two pages of code to test these if you are unable to: just ask

hi Bijan, While setting up (from a total reinstall or phpwcms & the database structures) I also got exacly the same folder colours as you have now but saved the config.inc.php to the correct directory anyway. I then modified config.inc.php to.. //my iis root dir is wwwroot, my phpwcms is located...

I found the update sql script to create the sql tables.
