Hello everyone, Sorry I've been away for so long. Life overtook me somewhat last year after releasing 0.6. I'm pleased to see that people are still using my blog module successfully, and I'm sorry I've not been been able to support it so well over the last few months. I'd like to apologise ...

Anyways it has a slight problem. Add comment doesn't show correctly if CSS is rendered in Internet Explorer. Any hacks for that?! Yes. You need to hack your index.php and include an XHTML !DOCTYPE to the top of your document, to force IE to render the page in standards-compliant mode. If you don't ...

WCMSBlog v0.6 (was Phpwcms Blog Module)

Hello everyone. Although it may have seemed that the release of this was apparently scheduled somewhere in between when pigs might fly and just before hell freezes over (i.e. never), I've released version 0.6 of WCMSBlog , which is the blog module I've been hacking away at for Phpwcms for some time ...

Those that happen to be looking at my WCMSBlog mini-site could be forgiven for thinking that I've released it. Sorry about that - I thought I'd made the new pages invisible :) It's very nearly ready, and I plan to have it uploaded somewhere at the end of the day.

In case anyone's interested, I've now implemented site-wide and blog-specific RSS feeds, and also e-mail notifications when comments are added to blogs (a feature I've been wanting for ages). Here's a screenshot of the preferences page for a blog that shows how you configure it all: http://www ...

Yes, there are some updates. I've just fixed the RSS (finally) but realised that I need to add a couple of other bits to the core code and configuration so that it all works sensibly. I've set up a bugtracker that people will be able to log bugs into (so they don't clutter up the forums :) ) and I'm ...

Hello again everyone. I've been busy training people this week at work, and it's meant writing training guides in the evening so I haven't had time to finish up Beta 3. The closed Beta testing for Beta 2 is now closed, and I'll be making a public release of the module early next week (I've just got ...

@DeXXus my fault  with only one 'Article' in the Blog I can't see this Effect. So only the ''<< PREVIOUS" Link is not working for me - think that this has not to be shown on the 'first Page' of the Blog !? Sorry, I thought I'd fixed that. I'll look into it again! This could be considered as a ...

Would it be possible to also release, perhaps when you have a bit more time, a package consisting of the phpwcms files incorporating the hacks necessary to add the blog mod? Alternatively, once it is released, maybe somebody who installed the hack over a clean 1.2.6 phpwcms version, could take a ...
