how is this moving along?

I am trying to change the outline border color of the shoutbox. My site has a black background so im trying to change that outside border to black. where would i make those changes?

On the main page i have summary's listed with pictures, my problem is the summarys are to close together. I would like to add a line between summarys, or just increas the space between them.
