Page for HOME without alias

I would like to show on HOME a page that has no alias. I am getting

http://www.domain.org/index.php?entry-page

since I cannot set the page field value as empty. Is there a way how to get just

http://www.domain.org in the sitemap?

Thanks!
Dejan

P.S. Alias under site structure is blank.

Re: Switching to Apache htaccess login

Thanks for your hints. Why - I don't trust PHP and MySQL so much regarding security issues.

However, Apache htaccess is also not the best one for typing in username and pwd as a string. I will move the login.php to a subfolder and add .htaccess protection on it.

Thanks again for your comments ...

Switching to Apache htaccess login

I would like to switch from the login.php login to apache security (using the .htaccess file) for logging at phpwcms administrator part. I would like to pass the username and password to login.php somehow, so I don't need to provide the username and password twice.

Does anyone have a hint how to do ...

Re: Vertical navigation in footer

Thanks! It worked, great!

I am getting just my last one shifted a little bit (probably because of the upper layout).

Wonderful support!

Best wishes,
Dejan

A proper 404 error for search engines (HTTP 1.1 status code)

I would need to know , if the error HTML part does really reflects the HTML header of 404 error, when a webpage is missing?

By default, I still get the footer with links, but should be a blank webpage.

Any help in getting the default 404 Apache error page and sending the visitor a proper HTTP 1.1 ...

Re: Vertical navigation in footer

Thanks for your helpful input!

I am however finding difficulties to get the vertical divider working - my navigation is not split into categories, just in a single column.

Re: Neue Agentur-Website: www.kcomp.de

I am very keen about the footer menu - how did you design it (html and css)? did you develop your own Flash component or used another one on your first (main) page?

I like your website very much! Great work!

need help with menu design

Hi!

I have a request to website developers. I have never developed menues with CSS in PHPWCMS and I would need help.

I have attached a Print Screen of the menu (on the left side) that I use in the website, but I think it does not suit inside the website.

Can someone suggests me a better proposal ...
