as always in your style, so clean, so cool, a big thumbs up!
i much like the inkspot on top right; only concern i might have, if i was you, is that the black part on the header's right is a bit too much dark; since the right part is the closure of the communication, imho it gives a much stronger sense of "closure" and "rigidity". Maybe a lighter, lightly textured grey? an olive green? a light brown?

at 1st let me say thanks... i think you made some good points, i will think about it that night... really fresh ideas always.

the black should be darkblue [or is a dark blue on my monitor] - do you think its a problem with the big color difference on the different screens? it's a heavy contrast compared to the whole contrast... i am confused

consider this: i am actually writing from a 14' laptop, somewhere on the coasts of Brazil (yes, holidays, for the first time in 4 years), and on this laptop that dark blue seems plain black

...i'm not a web-safe colour guy, but you should definitely at least try for a slightly lighter blue...
