I have been away from the forum for some time.
Could someone give a quick update as to where the DEV release is in relation to V2?
Also if I install the new Dev Release, will upgrades require recreating the site or can I just replace the files and exec sql code.
Is there an easy way to move sites from 1 host to another?

some quick questions

as far as I can see:
The 1.2.6 dev is a very stable Version. Had 2 sites comming from 1.1 RC4. updatet with the sql code in the setup files->1.2.3->1.2.5->1.2.6. Even as there are changes in some of the tables with a good backup all the data is coming through.
In my opinion in the newest 1.2.6 (missing only some parts of user management) there is pretty much more stuff inside as anyone dreamed in January 2005
For a pretty good management of Site values in the newer config files in my opinion there will be no problem in moving sites. (As done many times) Did this with changing domain Names as well... not any problem. Only short change in the config file.
As far as I know no greater problems with upgrading, when doing it under setup control. Updating is worth
As well as checking the CVS - Stat on the docu site... its so calm, may be there is something in the air *g*
