Hi squidi,
can it be that you are a little bit negative attuned against phpwcms and it's capabilities...
Always vituperating...

Hi squidi,
why should I answer the question why this hack was not inserted until now? Am I the developer? Perhaps Oliver Georgi has other ideas of a guestbook administration... Oliver always likes to implement his own ideas...and he does this well in my opinion! Sarkasm doesn't help anyone...

http://www.ioerror.us/software/bad-behavior/
Bad Behavior is a set of PHP scripts which prevents spambots from accessing your site by analyzing their actual HTTP requests and comparing them to profiles from known spambots. It goes far beyond User-Agent and Referer, however. Bad Behavior is available for several PHP-based software packages, and also can be integrated in seconds into any PHP script.

i've copied the bad-behaviour folder in the root of my site.
then, at the begining of the file include/inc_front/content/cnt18.article.inc.php (phpcwms rel 1.1-RC4),
i've added this line of code:
Code: Select all
require_once("bad-behavior/bad-behavior-generic.php"); //Bad-Behavior hack against spambot
IT WORKS!
