Random Picture of the the day

Post by Ibis Fernandez »

I love the {RANDOM} tag but is there a way to have a separate yet similar tag that does the same thing exept it uses the same image all day?

Whats the point of in that? The reason people use this CMS is cause their looking for a unified content management system. If youre going to use external scripts then you mind as well also use a different CMS :)

Id much rather have this feature as part of the CMS.

Though I do recognise your point, as a quick and dirty solution, and have in fact installed and modded a copy of 4images to achieve it.

So now i have a whole new image gallery app running and a whole new database for just a simple procedure... Not the best way.

if anyone comes up with a more feasable lighter-weight solution please post.

do you think there is a cms with included all the features you want?

I just tell you that you can use external scripts and I guess it will solve your problem...
