Hi,
It would be great to have the ability for the system to place a "New" icon when a new article is created (or "Edit" icon when articles have been edited.) It would also be good to place an expiration of the "new" icon, say in 5 days the "new" icon would disappear.
Thoughts...

this hack is already included in the phpwcms package you will find it in the folder in the frontend_render folder isNew.php_.
