OK,
http://www.nccbmwcca.org
I'm not that proud of the site but I think I have finally got the home page set the way I want it.
It is important for me to have everything that our car club members would need on the first page.
I use the teaser_ex RT for the calendar of events.
I'm using {SHOW_CONTENT:article ID} and LIST MENU on parts.
Also use 2 RSS feeds, one from google news and another from our message board.
Things I don't like. I don't care for the look on PCs but do like the look on Macs. Maybe it's a resolution or fonts thing?
I don't like the banner across the top. I like the photo, it just doesn't seem to fit.
The reason the page is wide is because I have a set of pages that are wide and wanted them to confirm to the rest of the site.
I like using the google RSS feed because I'm trying to get our members to visit the page everyday.
Different news might attract them. Also since it's always changing the page will not look static.
Constructive advice is welcome.
Please avoid brutal comments.
I'd like to have boxes around some of the content sections.
