Mouseover browser text for preview pic

hi,
atm on mouseover on a preview picture, IE shows the image name, Firefox shows no text. As I have a website with lots of visitors who are internet beginners, I´d like to show a text like "click to zoom" instead of it.
Exactly as it works with the resized picture in the pop-up, where on mouseover "close this window" appears.
Is it possible to manage this, so that it works in IE and Firefox as well?
