Hi.

Wondering if this is possible, if anyone has achieved it somehow..

I want to label an article as a "category".. the purpose:

- All "news" type articles written in the one place, labelled with a category, eg: category X, category Y
- Have a front-page news that shows all articles from all categories
- Have another page news that shows only articles from category X
- Have another page news that shows only articles from category Y

Is this possible in it's current form?

1.2.3-DEV.

Thanks

Mike

I'd like to do something similar. I have a 3 column site layout. Left column is standard navigation, center column is for Content, in the right column I'd like to specify the display of either a specific article or a category of articles like the "iceman" is suggesting.

I'm still running the older version of 1.1 rc4 (had trouble getting 1.25 to work) so if this functionality only exists in the latest release can you let me know?

Are there any parameters that can be ammended to the [CONTENT] tag so only a certain category is displayed?

Any help in this area is greatly appreciated. Please be as specific as possible with your replys, I'm still new to php.

Thanks,
Rong
