The beginnings of a FAQ at the phpWCMS WIKI

Hello,
I started a FAQ at the WIKI page
http://www.phpwcms.de/wiki/
As a newbie to phpWCMS, I thought that documenting my questions and findings in the WIKI would be a good idea. In my experience as a newbie, it is very hard to dig up answers to the questions I have from this forum. The search function on phpBB really sucks and feels ancient.
As I go along, I'll add more questions and hopefully answers to the FAQ and if you know answers to the questions already there, don't hesitate and start editting
Thank you for your input in the WIKI, it is much appreciated

Yes please! If you have a question or answer, add them to the page. It's extremely easy to use.
Thanks,
ae

I was using phpBB 2 before and I found this php WCMS for more support and updates. However, I got a problem after downloading phpwcms.de/ of how to open it. What is the appropriate program to open or do I need to download another program/s?
please release me and help me build my site...

Hello guys,
I tried the link to the wiki and found it broken!
I think a wiki is a nice idea for a good documentation.
Greetings,
Tom

There is a general wiki now at:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PhpWCMS
I recently updated it with links and showcase. I still miss a recent overview of phpwcms extensions. The --...--/ site is not up to date I think.

there is a new project called, run by pappnase

The info is a little outdated, we have started a new project area on sourceforge where developers can add TAGS which are up2date
see
https://sourceforge.net/projects/phpwcms-addon/
please note all developers are welcome to add their downloads here...
the dev forum is still active, but remember it really depends on those who created the TAGS and MODS to keep them up2date!
