WOW! :D

I am waiting for new releases almost every day -- hardly waiting to see the new enhancements in 1.2.4 and looking forward to the version PHPWCMS2!

Greetings,

I installed the new release successfully

The first thing which i tested was the new contentpart 'Contentpart Alias', it looks very interesting. I know that it is a little bit to early for any whishes and it is not Xmas, but one suggestion. It would be great if the user can select an article id from an select box instead to key it in manualy. This is unfortunatelly not idiot proofed :(

However, let us see what kind of further improvements we can find in the new release

Okay for whom who is interested in the following RT:

WAK_SNIPPET
WAK_ARTCILE_CREATED

Both of them seems to work fine in the current release.

Here's a question to those of you who have used 1.2.4 DEV: Is it production-ready or should I stick to 1.2.3 for now?

see 1.2.4 as a more ready release then 1.2.3

Hi Ben,

It is a stable "work in progress"
Would it just be for that newly (see above) introduced content part:
"contenpart alias"...
It is really worth the gain in productivness 8)

Only one SQL line needed for the upgrade:

Code: Select all

ALTER TABLE `phpwcms_articlecat` ADD `acat_permit` TEXT NOT NULL ;
Cheers,

to any of you early adaptors already using DEV 1.2.4: is the search-function getting more complete, especially in terms of supporting the "search off" feature in an article? i do have some pages that are only shown to logged-in users. i dont want the articles to be found by the search function. using DEV 1.2.3 right now.

hope you guys can help, thx
