Who has to coordinate the Documentation?

Post by adriano »

Hello Oliver,
I had setup the wiki for the docs of wcms, but until now, anyone has put any docs into it. Maybe this has to be coordinated. It would be wrong way, if few peaple are doing the same work on their home pcs and no one knows about that.

I think, you should give us some rules about writing the docs and how we have to do it. I see some upgrades on your wcms site but not in the wiki.

Lets have some people be a moderator for the docs.
And maybe, it would be nice to have a forum here only for talk about the docs.

How do you think about that.

By the time, I have spent some time in putting in some text from your docs into the wiki, but my english is not very well, so writing new parts should do someone with better english knowledge. Then, I will spent time in writing it to german and give all people tipps on working with phpwcms on Mac OS X.

Lets talk about.

Hello Pappnase,

if you reach the startpage of the wiki you see this:

Image

You see there all what you need. On top there is a link which Oliver made. This calls start here: PhpwcmsDoc. Follow this link and you will see more categories for the doc.

Again on startpage you see at mid to bottom of the page the whole doc for the wiki.

I had by myself at the beginning a hard way to understand wiki at all and this phpwiki too. See by yourself. Take a look at the Replacementtags page, how I had to rewrite the code into wiki.

I did not made any interface work, so, if this software shall be the one we use for the docs, than we can make a nice interface which looks more the wcms.
