mod rewrite problem with external include

hi there,

i still use the 1.1-RC4 27-08-2004 because it works fine and it is very stable but i think my problem must be the same for every version.

i tested the mod rewrite functionality and it also works but even too good. my problem is that external content i include via a php include ist also rewritten in the source code.

e.g. [PHP]include("http://www.xyz.com/content.php?type=423");[/PHP]

so i get nothing or wrong content in my page. is there any solution to add that includes are not automatically rewritten by the system?

does really nobody has the same problem?? i would really like to use mod rewrite but still couldn`t find any solution.

any hints??
