{FEATURE:cat_ID:number:sortfield:asc|desc}

This RT would feature (number) articles from a particular catagory (cat_ID). The (sortfield) could be date entered, date live, or date closed. and could be chosen ascending or descending. The output would be the standard summary output for the article including picture if available.

This could have lots of uses. It could simulate hot news items by sorting the date entered decending. It could simulate upcoming events by sorting closing date ascending.

I'm currently working on a RT called TEASER_EX.

Syntax:

{TEASER_EX:category_alias|count[;category_aliasx|countx]:articles_per_page:sortfield|sortdir:show_cat_name:pagelink_text}
