problem with downloading files (fdp, Excel, txt)

I uploaded more than 30 files in my filedirectory and everything worked perfect till a few weeks ago. It is impossible to download excel, fdp and other files. If you download the files they are empty.
Further, it became impossible to upload new files in the file directory. What is going wrong here?

Hi Patrick,

mmm, strange... did you change something in config.inc.php?
maybe a cache problem, try to reset/delete your cache as u seem to be using 1.2+ dev version.
Did ur host change something to his server config?

check the Permissions again of the Folders

../phpwcms_filestorage and ../content

some Providers 'resets' this sometimes
