I'm thinking of a MOD that outputs a Chart list (like a Top 10 for music e.g.)
The admin part has a connection with a db-table and can be used to insert and moderate the chart-items.

In the front-end users can vote for their 5 best tunes (or any other chart-items) by activating check-boxes (form-elements).
The MOD automatically logs the top 20 most voted items (and reports them to the administrator via mail).

I'd like to write such a MOD myself, however help is actually needed, as my PHP skills are not really that good...

i wondering there are any solutions for rating articles and show them in a top 10?

I thinking about a user rate interface for each article as conten part ?!?
would be great.

User interaction is importen for a page. Most will check for "the best" db entries- natural.
