Article list on index page: how to show with sample.tmpl ?

I've index page on my site.
Then i create on it two blocks: 'html' and 'article list' from other section.
So. I see simple list of article (img/article/intlink_1.gif + article name) but in each article and index page article list template set to "sample.tmpl".
Question: how can I do article list on index page with 'sample.tmpl' ?
