Hi!
This is, what I am looking forward to, too. The possibility to rate articles. And I'm also looking forward to a feature that allows having several articles at one page. Like a guestbook Or a file listing with description and the possibility to rate the files and to have a statistic how often it's been downloaded. Would you consider adding this features to a future release?

hello
here you have an phpwcms feature list
http://www.phpwcms.de/index.php?id=8,0,0,1,0,0
and what will come
http://www.phpwcms.de/index.php?id=21,0,0,1,0,0
but i don't think that there will come ratings and download counter. cos it's not really needed. important is the content not the ratings and download counts.

Well I donĀ“t think we need that... phpwcms is a cms and not a portal script. If you need functions like that you can install external scripts
Just my opinion

I dont thing its 100% nessesary either but I would like to make 1 point on why it could be helpful.
The ability to rate an article, tutorial, or piece of content can help administrators decide which content should be placed at the front and which content should be moved to the back sort-of-speak.
Couple that with some sort of statistics system, one could easily set those articles that no one is actually reading or that every hates to automatically expire. or better yet get pruned off so as to preserve database space and overall speed of the script.

I think the idea would be to have some sort of artificial intelligence, not just regular feedback to the end user. In fact I wouldnt mind if the end user never really know any of those actual details. My point is strictly for back end use.
