htnl area old vs new

In the januari 10th update there is a new version of the html area editor. My Windows system asked for the Office CD-ROM when I entered the article page where that html area is loaded. Maybe some people do not have Office (Word) installed. So it could be an idea to let people choose to use the old html area or the new one.

Does that make sence?

yes it does but in some way I like as it is right now when it is based on browser and browser vers. But maybe it could be some thing like:
