how can I realize that in NavTable a NEW or EDITED Flag is shown when a Article is added or edited - like on the Docu Site

when I use the Code somwhere I get the New Flag - but where is the right Place for this Code that it shows the Flag in the NAV_TABLE? I use

also I don't see how the EDITED Flag is working
