good morning,

at home i got no internet. the installation process was sucessful, all databases were created.

but when i click on the login-link a javascript alert is comming : "page cannot be found" but if i look in my htdocs folder the file 100% exists.

any idea why it is not possible to enter the admin-area without an internet connection ?

It is if your have a local server....

But if your database settings is wrong, then phpwcms try to call http://www.phpwcms.de/dbdown.php

so that means there is no problem to use wcms without an internet connection, right?

i think that happened. the funny thing is, that the installation was successful, so the database settings are ok, although there comes this error.

i'm a little bit , i will try it today night at home again, we will see what will happen

Did you copy the genereted conf.inc.php to the right folder?

Eg read this: http://www.phpwcms-docu.de/dev_1_x_en.phtml

For installing 1.1.9 DEV

hehe, there's a litlle memory in my brain which slowly comming' back. i'm not sure but it's really possible that i've forgot one thing - copying the congig file

i hope that will resolve my problem, thank u very much 4 wasting time for me

I assume you are running on some windows platform with apache server??
Is your server and databases running and alive???
REMEMBER CHMODS!!!!!! ( in windows you should use some ftp client to change those )

I use XAMPP for windows, and everything goes fien without internet connection

you dont need to change chmods on a windows machine
