Hi everyone,

I am at early stages of learning wcms and I would like to know how I can place phpbb into a phpWCMS template with left side navigation. Want to set it up to do some testing but have no idea how to do i.

thank you all

Hi,

its right, I did it via iFrame and it works fine with IE. With Firfox you have to scroll, but I think it's no real problem. I myself use Firefox.

I don't know a better solution - but I think its a good workaround?!

Definately nicer in IE. A good forum to post questions like this (how to make it work the same in FF) I found to be http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/

But maybe someone here has got the knowledge?

doesnt PHPWCMS have the ability to call external php script and have the stuff displayed inline as an article? It would be interesting if someone could exploit this into a full fledged phpbb integration mod.

hmm I think that nobody will do this because OG is developing an own forum for phpwcms. and there are several solutions (as self-resizing iframes, that will make your site look as if the forum was fully integrated!)

just search the forum for this.
