URGENT URGENT

everything was working just fine until i did the update now when i try to create a new article it tell me error while connecting to database. I even went as far to erase everything and reinstall and i still get the same thing. Does anybody know what is causing this and what i can do to fix this problem

Did you use the "setup" or "upgrade" to install new release?

first i did the upgrade sfter that didn't work i deleted everything and did a fresh install and got the same results. I like this software and i wanna get this going

I think the path to your database may be the problem.
Try creating another sql db and re install phpwcms again using the setup method.
Don't forget to verify access rights for special files and folders. Also make sure the new conf.inc.php is copied in the inc_conf folder.
