questions on images

Hello,

I'm new to phpwcms so maybe this question has been answered before (though I did not find anything):

I used the file center to upload images. Using this images in articles works very good. However, what I do not understand is the following:

- deleting an image from the file center does not affect the articles already using the image

- how is it possible to exchange images? Example: using a logo on several articles. How do I exchange the logo, so that all articles show the new logo without editing all articles? Of course one could use the IMAGE tags and store the pictures in a folder but what is this file center good for then?

The file center is very nice but if it's not possible to exchange images it's useless. If I have to edit every article just to update the image there's something wrong. Maybe someone can explain when to use the file center and when not...

hello

if you wann use images at several pages. e.g. in the layout .
then create your own folder in the picture dir and use the {IMAGE:} tags!

thanks but I already know that it is possible to use the IMAGE tag. What I was asking is if it is possible to exchange images of the file center easily without modifying each article. Moreover I do not understand why deleting images from the file center does not affect the articles who use the images.
