Hi,

I am looking for someone's assistance to solve a phpwcms configuration problem i am having. It is probably NOT that hard to solve, I just dont have the technical expertise, time nor patience to finish it do it.

If you are interested, I will glady pay a reasonable and standard agreed rate for assistance.

Here's the situation:
I have succesfully installed the script, but have troubles and problems with respect to the file centre.

- I want to be able to allow users to upload images
- I want GD /imagemagick to work with phpwcms

I obtain the error:

"Error while creating user directory." or
"Error writing to file storage (1)"... (when i manually create the subfolder "1" in phpwcms_filestorage - the folder is NOT created automatically).

I have read similar threads in the support forum, such as this:
http://www.phpwcms.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=35
.... but was unable to implement the solution, because I don't understand, and don't have time to troubleshoot.

Would anyone be able to help me solve the filestorage problem? I will glady pay a standard rate, to solve the problem (via paypal etc).

As I have not reached the stage of setting up imagemagick/GD, I am not sure as to the difficulties you may encounter there, however I have had problems with these components in other scripts I have attempted to install requiring GD/IM. I would like you to help solve this, if it is indeed a problem.

I understand that assistance may require some technical information from my host... I am happy to obtain this information for you, if you were interested in helping me.

Please PM me via this forum message system, if you are interested.

I have quite a tight deadline for this!!! Please help!

Many thanks

Nathan

you could start adding a link to a phpinfo file, so we can see if the server even support GD /imagemagick and you have server rights to add files via http....

You can ask your service provider to give you the link to phpinfo.

you can search the forum for more info on that topic. Here is an example.
