putting backgroud-pics into the layout configuration

hello,
I have made my own design and now i would like to make use of it. As u can see I have choosen the second option from the blocks from the page layout: Header, left and main.
Could somebody tell how do I put each background-pic (3) in its corresponding place. There is a left-space as well.
