My site has some very different content.

One subcategory has articles from a magazin, we made some years ago. I would like to bring some of the articles by the time into the cms. A nice feature would be, if I could have a startpage for the subcategory with the {NEWS}-function in it, but only new articles from within the subcategory should be shown.

OK, then I would propose a new tag, something like:

{LIST_LATEST:catid:number}

which would generate a listing of the latest "number" articles in "catid".

can you make something like that, roman-schechtel?

I seems like Oliver are a little to busy, so I´m sure that he will admit any kind off support...
