Articles : Hit counter (public) : ON or OFF

Would be nice if PHPWCMS would allow to trigger ON or OFF the public showing (if needed), some sort of hit counter.

did you mean that people see how often an article was read!?
that was ask a long time ago from.

but is such future really needed? i think it only blow up the database. and it's not telling the worth of the artikle or am i wrong!?

Hello Pappnase,

Would it really blow up the database that much? I am not a database programmer to confirm this. Well... maybe at least, the admin could choose to ignit this feature and assume and live with he's decision (the goods and bad sides of it)

I have clients like (http://www.adoption.gouv.qc.ca), that I beleive I will have to migrate from PhpWebsite to PhpWCMS, and they are use to and appreciate this functionnality.
